I have a Frigidaire Range Model FGGF3041KFJ that is giving the F10 Error Code. What do I need to do to fix it?
The Frigidiare range F10 error code means the control has detected the oven is heating even though the oven is not in use.
If Oven is cold:
1. If you are getting this error while the oven is cold and not in use test the resistance of the oven temperature sensor it should be roughly 1100 ohms at room temperature. If not the sensor is bad, replace it.
If the sensor is good check the wiring from the sensor to the main control, if the wiring is good, replace the main electronic control board.
If Oven is overheating:
1. If the oven is overheating, check the temperature sensor and temperature sensor circuit as described above. Make sure the sensor is mounted and installed correctly on the back wall of the oven.
2. Disconnect power from the range, wait 30 seconds and reapply power. If oven continues to heat when the power is reapplied, replace the main electronic control board..

hi I was broilng sausage when the F10 light came on- model # FGEF3035RFA! I can't ge the code off
Hello,
If you got that error while the range was in use it means that the control detected a runaway temperature, which means the range is not cycling the oven at the set temperature. In most cases that is caused by a bad temperature sensor in the oven. If you have an ohmmeter and know how to use it, follow the instructions on the page linked below

If you do not have a meter then just order and replace the temperature sensor as that is most likely the problem, however, if that does not fix it, the main control has failed. The parts for your model to fix that error are linked below.
I have a Frigidaire Range Model FGGF3041KFJ Giving the F10 Code. What does this mean?
That means the control is not getting the proper resistance back from the temperature sensor and is detecting a runaway temperature. This is usually caused by a failed temperature sensor. However, it can be the main control causing the problem as well. To figure out which one is the problem you will need to test the temperature sensor with an ohmmeter. Disconnect the sensor from the wiring harness and measure its resistance it should have roughly 1100 ohms at room temperature if not it's bad. If the sensor checks out good the control board needs to be replaced. The temperature sensor is the probe you see sticking out of the back wall the inside of the oven.
If you do not have an ohmmeter to test the sensor with just replace the sensor as that is the common part to fail. If after replacing the sensor it still gives you the F10 error code you will need to replace the control board. Both parts are linked below:

I just got an F10 error code last night, prior to that for several months the top element/broiler was not working. I see your post for the F10 code, I am wondering if you have information on replacing the top element? Thank you. I am considering doing these repairs myself without having to call a repairman.
First, you will want to check the broil element with an ohm meter and make sure the element is bad. Since you were getting the F10 error code it could be that the broil relay on the main board failed and is not sending voltage to the broil element which is why it's not working, not because the broil element is bad. Just check the element for continuity if it has continuity then you know the element does not need replacing and you just need to replace the control board and that will fix all the issue you are having. If the element does not have continuity then yes it would need to be replaced. Both the broil element and the control board for that model are linked below:

Below is a link to a video showing how to replace the broil element.
Getting f10 error code after oven heats up. I have tested the oven temperature sensor and wiring and it tests in the range that it should. I have removed power from oven and code clears, but when I set oven to heat up, (i set it for 300 degrees) the F10 code comes back and the oven is very hot.
Since you have checked the temp sensor and it's good and the wiring checks out the only thing left that can be causing that issue is the main control is not reading the resistances from the temp sensor which means the board is bad. The bad news about that is the board for that model is no longer being manufactured so you can't get them anymore, sometimes you can find a good used one on ebay but as of today there are not any listed. The only other option you really have other than buying a new stove is to send your board in to a company that will rebuild the board for you. The link below is to a company that you can send your board to and have it refurbished.

Need to get the correct model number control board for a model# LGEF3033KBB. I asked this question earlier, and was emailed a link with the answer, but the link that I was given me took me to a 'page not found'.
First I apologize for the dead link, the site was in the process of being migrated to a new server and the answer was not carried over to the new database.
The control board you need can be ordered from amazon at the link below:
I replaced both the sensor and the control board and it's still giving the f10 error what should I check next?
Sorry you are having so much trouble. If you replaced both parts and you still get the error then the wiring harness from the sensor the control is bad, you need to check the wiring with a ohm meter and see if the wiring from the sensor to the control is good which if you replaced the board and the sensor then there is no way it can be. If it is you got a bad board or bad sensor. So if the wiring is good check the resistance of the sensor and if its good then you just have bad luck and got a bad board.
