Whirlpool Duet Washer F01 Error

Troubleshooting and Repair - F01 Error Code - WFW9200SQ00

The F01 error on this model washer means the relay for the drain pump motor on the main control board (CCU) has failed to activate or a communication error between the Central Control Unit (CCU) and the EEPROM onboard the CCU occurred. You can try and reset the error by killing power to the washer at the breaker for one minute or unplugging the washer for one minute. Restore power and if the error persists you will need to replace the main control board. The replacement board can be ordered from the link below.

Fi E1 Error

Whirlpool washing machine model YWED5620HW1 is showing F1 and E1 error , what should I do?

The only thing you can do is try and reset the electronics by killing power to it at the breaker/fuse panel on your home for one full minute then restore power. If after that the problem persists the ACU (main control) will have to be replaced as the F1 E1 Error is critcal failure code for the ACU control. Your question states the error is on a washer however the model you gave is for a dryer so I can't give you the correct part information. If you want the part information for the washer I will need that model number for the washer. Just post a new question with the model number for your washer requesting the part information for the ACU.

Compatible Parts

I have a Whirlpool duet model number WFW9470WL01. I had a service technician run a diagnosis. It had a F01 code. I replaced the control board and now it gives me a code 99 as soon as I turn it on The part number of the original control board is 461970253083 The replacement control board part number is W10326995. The UL part number E192533 is the same on both. Is this new control board compatible with the existing system or do I have to change something else?

Hello,

Sorry you are having trouble. The board you ordered is the correct board for the model you listed. The 99 code you are getting means there is a communication error between the user interface and main control board. Check the connections between the boards, unplug them and plug them back in. If the problem persists then you likely will need to replace the user interface boards as well. If you need part information let me know, I may be able to provide the parts refurbished at a much lower price than new if you end up needing them. If it comes to that just post a new question saying you need the user interface boards along with your model number.

Happy Holidays.

Whirlpool Cabrio Washer Control Board Replacement

I was getting error code F1 on my whirlpool washer. I replace the control board (PN W10051176) with a new control board and started getting error code F50 instead of F1. I put the old part back in and now get the F1 error instead of the F50. Do you have to reset anything on the washer when you replace the control board?

Ok so the board giving the F1 error is a bad board and you were correct to replace it. Since you are now getting the F50 error with the new board that means your washer had a few issues. The board was bad and there is a problem with the drive motor circuit. It's probably just a bad RPS sensor but the article I linked you below will walk you through the process of troubleshooting that code. As far as there being anything to reset goes, no there is not. Your washer just had multiple issues so once you replaced the board and the F1 error was solved the new board found more problems.
