Whirlpool Washer F8E3 Error

The Whirlpool washer F8E3 error code means that the ACU ( main control board ) has detected an overflow condition which means the washer has filled too long without the water level pressure sensor trip being detected so as a precaution to prevent flooding the control has shut down the cycle and drained the water from the tub and reported the F8E3 error.

When this error happens is important to find the cause of the error otherwise you risk the washer overflowing and flooding your home. Make sure the water inlet valve is not allowing water in the unit when not in operation. Make sure the drain hose is not pinched or stopped up.

Clean out your drain pump filter/coin trap and drain pump. Be sure the drain pump is operating properly.

Check the water level pressure hose from the water level pressure sensor to the air trap on the tub, make sure the hose is not pinched or tore and that neither the air trap or hose is not stopped up prevent air flow through the hose.
