Whirlpool Duet Washer F26 Error

I changed the door lock assembly and it didn't solve the issue still giving me error f26 the replacement part is a brand new part not a rebuild on what can I do next thank you.

Check the wiring between the main control board and the door lock assembly, unplug the connection to the main control and plug it back in. If that does help and the wiring is good replace the main control board. If you want to save on the part by getting a refurbished, preowned board give me the full model number and I can link you to one that is far less than a new one.

The cycle fully ended but the door wouldn't open and the code F26 got displayed. What does it mean in my washer Whirlpool Duet, model WFW8400TW?

The only thing you can do is try and reset the electronics by killing power to it at the breaker/fuse panel on your home for one full minute then restore power. Keep getting F26 code. Washer won’t fill with water

The washer is not going to fill with water, in fact, it's not going to do anything. That F26 code means the control thinks the door is open. So unplug the washer the open and close the door plug the washer back in and if the error still persists the door lock assembly has failed and will need to be replaced. Hi, the moment I turn the washer knob to start a cycle the water starts filling the tub and it will continue filling until the drum is completely full then drain pump starts working at that time water usually stopped once the water level goes down, it will again start to full the drum.

When a washer keeps filling and does not shut off it's usually a bad water level pressure switch that causes that. You did not give a model number so there is no way I can tell you what part number you need.
