Buttons on face won't respond. i went into diagnostic mode and got a f22 code so i changed the door lock assembly as some websites recommended. after that it worked one time and went back to the same issue. my model number is Wfw9400sw01. websites are telling me to change the ccu. thoughts? is that located in the top right just inside the lid? i have unplugged and replugged all the modular plugs in this board and have been able to wash a couple of loads but it's still throwing a F22 code and not working. The Whirlpool Duet Washer F21 error on this and the related models at the bottom the page means that the touch pad user interface - (control console) can't transmit or receive data to or from the central control unit (CCU).
Select different cycle options and modifiers on the control panel and if the interface is accepting input then the user interface board is most likely good.
Unplug the washer and check your connections and wiring between the user interface board and the central control unit. Unplug the connectors and plug them back in. If the interface board seems to be working properly and the wiring and connections are good replace the central control unit.

The F22 error is normally the door lock assembly, however, if replacing the door lock assembly did not alleviate the problem then the lock circuit on the CCU is bad, so wherever you read that at was correct, the CCU will need to be replaced to fix the washer. You can order the CCU for that model from the link below:
