The Whirlpool Duet Washer F14 Error is a EEPROM Error. The central control unit (CCU) gets its data from an EEPROM chip inside the central control unit. When it can't read the data stored in the EEPROM the control will report the F14 error and shut down.
The only thing you can do is try and reset the control by unplugging or killing power to it at the breaker for a minute then restore power. If the F14 error continues to be a problem after that the central control unit will have to be replaced to repair the washer.
