How To Replace Exhaust Thermistor And Fix The F23 Error On A Whirlpool Duet Dryer
I would like to know how to check the thermistor on my dryer to see if it's good or not.
You test the thermistor with an ohm/volt meter. First remove the two wires plugged in to the thermistor. Check the resistance of the thermistor with your meter. The resistance values of the thermistor will be different depending on the temperature. The values should be in the ranges listed below:
(50°F) 19.9 ohms
(60°F) 15.3 ohms
(70°F) 11.9 ohms
(80°F) 9.2 ohms
(90°F) 7.4 ohms
(100°F) 5.7 ohms
