F34 Error

Whirlpool Duet Washer F34 Error

Troubleshooting and Repair - F34 Error Code - GHW9150PW0

The F34 error is only given when clothes are detected to be in the wash tub at the start of a washer cleaning cycle. Not a wash cycle but a cycle ran to clean the washer. If there are no clothes in the tub and this error keeps occurring then check for drag on the drive system. Spin the tub by hand and notice if you feel any resistance, if so there may be clothes stuck between the wash basket and inner tub or the rear spin bearing may be worn out. Move the open end of the drum up and down while holding the outer tub steady and check for looseness (more than ¼ inch of play). If it has more than ¼ inch of play the bearing is bad causing friction on the drive system.
