F13 Error

Whirlpool Duet Washer F13 Error

Troubleshooting and Repair - F13 Error Code - GHW9150PW0

The Whirlpool Duet Washer F13 Error means the dispenser motor on top of the dispenser housing is not moving to it's proper position. It's classified as a Dispenser Circuit Error.

This error is most commonly caused by a failed dispenser motor. Check the linkage between the dispenser motor and top of the dispenser housing. If the linkage looks ok and is not cracked, or damaged check the wiring between the central control unit and the dispenser motor for loose connections or damaged wires.

If everything listed above looks ok replace the dispenser motor. The page linked below has the part information and replacement instructions for the dispenser motor. If replacing the dispenser motor does not fix the error then the dispenser circuit in the central control unit has failed and the central control unit will need to be replaced.

F13 Code But Dispenser Motor Runs

I have a Whirpool Duet HT Model Number GHW9200LQ that wont fill with water. I get code f13 which indicates a bad dispenser motor but I can see the dispenser motor runs moving the little dial. I know the motor assy has a micro switch, is that what goes bad? Would the "WHIRLPOOL WASHER DISPENSER MOTOR # PP6863206" you have listed? My model doesnt have that "0" after the number Thanks Vic

Yes that would cause the issue the contact in the switch is not sending a signal to the board that it's in the correct position. The part linked below is the correct switch.

error code

I'm showing an F13 code on model GHW9250ML1 I believe it's for the dispenser motor or central control unit but you guys don't show this model number. Is this the right code for this number?

You are correct that error is normally a bad dispenser motor. The dispenser motor you need for that model is linked below, I did verify it to be the correct one for your model:
